What a great year it has been to be a Democrat! The election of 2008 has given our country a renewal on the hope of tomorrow. That hope starts with our newly elected President and the young people he has inspired. The Pennsylvania College Democrats has made changes over the past year. We are pleased to formally announce the support of our Executive Director Congressman Mike Doyle. We believe with this help, this organization will flourish for years to come.

This April, the Pennsylvania College Democrats will be holding their annual conference in Pittsburgh. The conference will feature a wide array of roundtable discussions, networking opportunities, and training sessions. Students from colleges and universities across Pennsylvania will use all of these events to better their campus chapters and help their local officials keep Pennsylvania blue.

To do this we ask for your help. We are asking for your financial support. With a conference of this magnitude, which will include students from colleges and universities all over Pennsylvania, we need this financial support to help ensure that the students gain as much knowledge as possible. We will use this financial contribution to pay for hotel costs, travel expenses, and refreshments for the events. As you know, young people and college students are the ones who volunteer to knock on doors, phone bank, and stuff envelopes. We are happy to do this to help keep democratic values across America, but there are times when your help is needed.
