Internship Opportunity with Specter Campaign
Citizens for Arlen Specter 2010 seeks hardworking, motivated and
organized students and recent graduates for campaign internship and
volunteer positions in Philadelphia.
Interns and volunteers will gain hands-on experience in grassroots
mobilization and field organizing.
Responsibilities will include voter outreach, volunteer recruitment &
training, monitoring the news, assisting in planning events and
working with local leaders to build a network of support. This is an
exciting opportunity for anyone considering a career in politics or
nonprofit work.
We are hiring full-time and part-time interns and volunteers for both

Requirements:
Demonstrated interest in politics, campaigns, nonprofit work,
community-building and/or social change.
Strong personal initiative; Must be a self-starter.
Strong analytic, research, writing and editing skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Previous volunteer work on a political campaign is a plus.
Knowledge of Philadelphia, also a plus.
